Poco Andante is hauled out – the bottom’s not too bad, considering this is the first time in 4 years!
Painting the topsides (above the waterline) – wasn’t actually on the ‘to-do’ list!
Ready to go back into the water – looking all sparkling and clean – well, the bottom half, anyway…
But then we had to paint the non-slip decks…
And discovered a leaking chain plate which a) needed to be re-sealed, and b) meant we had to varnish down below…
Trying to do the work as well as live on board doesn’t leave much space – the mess just about drove us mad!
But at last she’s ready to resume cruising – and so are we…
