Keith managed to photograph this hummingbird in flight!
Next island is Grenada which had been wiped out by a hurricane the previous year!
St George, the capital, is still devastated.
The harbour still had boat wrecks everywhere…
… then someone set fire to the local school.
The fishmarket in St George still operating.
The ladies deal with a yellow fin tuna.
We took a local bus across the island to see the interior – Grand Etang forest is still devastated.
You can see the trees in the background are like match sticks.
Concord Falls were still beautiful, though.

We do some running repairs to the dinghy at Prickly Bay.
And we had the best ‘roti’ lunch on Grenada!
When we arrive in Trinidad, we anchor at the TTSA anchorage – the music from the shore was so loud that the boat rocked!
So we moved around to Chaguaramas Bay – where all the action is.
Port of Spain is the capital – colourful and fun.
This turkey vulture perched on a mast!
While we were in Trinidad, Hurricane Emily loomed. We moved to a more secure bay and laid a tandem anchor…
During Hurricane Emily – at Monos Island.
Bailing the dinghy after the hurricane!
We learned to play Mexican Train Dominoes at the Crews’ Inn – Sundays were fun!
And Sunday BBQ at Coral Cove.
Keith went to the other side of the island to see Leatherback Turtles laying their eggs…
These huge creatures crawl all the way up to the sand dunes to lay their eggs…
… and there are so many of them…
… hopefully this little one will make it!
